What happens to your data

The short version, for anyone using one of our free tools.

What do you collect?
Public information about the restaurant being analyzed — its name, address, and public listing details — plus whatever we can read from its own public website. If you ask us to email you the full report, we collect the email address you give us. If you upload something, like a menu or a delivery statement, we collect that too — and if you paste a link to one instead of uploading it, we fetch it ourselves and treat it exactly the same way. If you paste content for a tool to work on — like a customer review in our reply assistant — we process it in memory to produce your result and do not keep it.
Why do you have it?
To build the report you asked for. If you ticked the consent box, we may also follow up with you about what the report found and how RestauMate could help. That is the only reason we would contact you, and every message has an unsubscribe link.
What happens to a statement I upload?
We read the totals out of it and then delete the file. We do not keep your statement. It is your financial information and we have no reason to hold it once the numbers are in your report.
How long do you keep any of this?
If you never become a RestauMate customer, we delete the record after 18 months. If you do become a customer, it becomes part of your account and follows our normal retention terms.
Can I have it deleted now?
Yes, and you do not need an account to ask. Email privacy@restaumate.com and we will remove the record from our systems.
Do you sell it?
No.
